Madurai
- Nov 30 -In two short decades, we have
morphed from a society that feared and resisted
change
to one that not only accepts change as inevitable,
but also completely takes dramatic change
for granted. From retail trends, to urban
planning, to technology, to business, to
medicine, we are now completely accustomed
to seeing one way of doing things quickly
washed away by the next. We expect change
so much that we put off major decisions,
we routinely ask, "What will be the
next big thing?" |
Corporate
India, in an admirably rigorous response
to global competition, has been quickest
to accept and embrace the new meta-paradigm,
that the paradigms themselves are going
to keep changing faster and faster. The
same goes for all types of organizations
that wish to continue existing, from Schools
to Small Business and the Corporate Houses. |
| It is not uncommon
that the Self-improvement industry leads the
van guard of alternate point of view on revising
its concept of what makes a good goal. |
| We've been told
countless times that goals should be written
down and Mr. S.Prakash, the Success Coach
cum CEO of M/s. See Change Consulting, Chennai
provided the handy acronym, SMART, to remind
us that goals should be Specific, Measurable,
Attainable, Realistic, and Tangible in the
third seminar conducted by Young Entrepreneur
School (YES) promoted by The Tamil Nadu Chamber
of Commerce and Industry (TNCCI) at MEPCO
Mini Auditorium, Madurai on 30th November
2004 between 4.30pm – 7.30pm. |
| The program titled
"The Art of Goal Setting and Benefits
to your Organization" presided over by
Mr. V. Neethi Mohan, Chairman, YES said that
the event has highlighted the knowledge and
tools the young entrepreneurs need to apply
to cope up with constant interruptions, financial
challenges and compliance issues. |

Lifetime message compendium on the Art of
Goal Setting. The program was arranged by
