Not only the Students, but even the Faculties need to embrace themselves to the ever changing job market scenario around them. What is current today, knowledge wise, is history tomorrow.
 
"Faculty Development Program - Scaling to the TOP" was the central theme of the recently conducted One Day Workshop by See Change Consulting, the Human Possibilities Consultants along with GKM College of Engineering and Technology. This workshop was held on 07- 12-2007 at the Seminar Hall of GKM College, Mappedu, Near Tambaram, Chennai.
 
Principals, Deans, HODs and Placement & Training Officers of many leading Colleges from across Tamilnadu attended this Workshop. Dr. S. Sathikh, Ex Vice Chancellor of University of Madras  presided over the Workshop and gave a special address on "Creativity in Teaching". The day was electrifying for the participants with the famous Motivational Speaker cum Author, Mr. S. Prakash (CEO of See Change Consulting), giving them some motivational inputs on 2 topics "Being the Change" and "Art of Goal Setting". There were many other eminent speakers like Mr. C. R. Sasi (President, Alumni Association, College of Engineering, Guindy, speaking on "Entrepreneurship Development), Mr. Angyan P. Jagath Narayanan (world's leading Project Management Consultant, speaking on "Project Management Approach to Placement"), Prof. J. Lakshmi Narasimhan (Retired Professor of English and also a Mentor cum Coach at See Change Consulting, speaking on the need for "Business English in the Job Market").
 
The day was laced with great insights and keen discussions amongst the participants. They went back rich with knowledge and experience and gaining in levels of confidence of a different dimension.
